Account and community data
The connected service stores account identifiers, display names, password hashes, profile information, posts, replies, reactions, follows, notifications, reports, and private messages in its database. Passwords are processed to create salted hashes; the original password is not retained.
Login sessions
An essential HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. Session records expire and can be revoked. Request checks and rate limits help protect accounts and administration operations.
Media
When media storage is enabled, uploaded images and clips are stored separately and served through the site. Published media URLs are public. Do not upload confidential documents or private media to the public media library.
Private messages
Message endpoints restrict access to conversation participants. Messages are stored on the server and are not end-to-end encrypted; the operator can access the underlying database.
Browser storage
Preferences, drafts, bookmarks, lists, and private notes can use local browser storage. Signing out does not erase all browser data. Clearing browser data removes local copies but does not delete published content or server records.
Hosting and outside services
The hosting provider processes requests to deliver and protect this site. The distributed application does not include advertising pixels or analytics trackers. Links and externally hosted images may contact their respective hosts.
Retention
Shared content is retained until removed by its author or an authorized moderator. Database backups and provider logs have separate retention settings. Contact the operator about account data, export, deletion, and backup retention.
